I'm rashad... your photographer.


Photography can be an extension of the photographer, the subject, or the connection they share. When I started with photography, I used it as an expression and journey of personal discovery. As I grew I understood the importance of connecting with who and what I was photographing.


So... allow me to give you a little of who I am. I have been a photographer for over a decade, I have won awards, and I have been published in online and print magazines. I am also a member of the United States Air Force having now served for 22 years.


I believe the business of photography is anchored in both service and art; neither is greater. I enjoy a candid photography experience where we can both relax and be ourselves instead of trying to be something specific for the camera. Let's find natural light and laughter rather than intrusive light stands and stiff posing.


Camera or not... you will likely find me somewhere without shoes with my mind and body in the same place enjoying the moment.
